You will receive emails from The Writing Set about your booking, but you will not be added to our newsletter mailing list unless you have first consented by signing up through our website. We are committed to ensuring that all your personal information is kept private and protected, and promise never to pass on your details to third parties. Our marketing automation platform is MailChimp. By joining our mailing list, you consent to the information you provide being transferred to MailChimp for processing in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Terms.

To process all payments we use Stripe and Paypal. We do not hold your information anywhere other than Stripe and Paypal after a payment has been made. When you make a booking you will receive a confirmation email from Stripe or Paypal, but you will not be placed on our mailing lists without your consent, and we will not use data collected in the booking process. We promote some of our courses on the social platform Meetup. When you make a booking, you will receive an initial confirmation email from Meetup and a welcome email about the event from The Writing Set, but you will not be placed on The Writing Set mailing list without your consent, and we will not use data collected in the booking process. Meetup’s Privacy Policy is here.

Google Analytics uses cookies (small pieces of text saved to your hard disk) in order to collect information about how visitors use thewritingset.co.uk. The Writing Set uses the information to help improve the website. The cookies collect information in an anonymous form, including the number of visitors to the site, where visitors have come to the site from and the pages they visited.
