Do you live or work in Bath? Set aside an hour each month to write with award-winning author Joanne Rush, meet other aspiring writers, and enjoy a beautiful setting too.

Our free monthly writing club meets in a beautiful bar on Kingsmead Street, Bath, on the second Wednesday of every month.
We find that working on our own projects in the company of other creative people can ignite our love of writing and transform what we write. Whether you want to explore a new idea in a friendly space, or set aside some time to get those words on the page, why not come and try it out for yourself?
Each session is very simple. We chat for 5 minutes about what everyone is working on, spend an hour writing quietly together, and then check in again at the end. This is a completely free event. We just ask two things:
- Support our host venue by getting a drink or a snack.
- Invite a friend to come with you. We really love the snowball effect this creates. It’s a wonderful way to keep the group vibrant and fresh.
